High-density installation and space saving

This is the challenge that our long-time partner Freetel s.r.o., the service organization of NFX, z.s.p.o., faces on a daily basis .

We asked Matej Cyrín, Managing Director of Freetel s.r.o., a few questions about HUBER+SUHNER products and the cooperation with PEI-Genesis.

Which of our products do you use and in what applications at your locations?

We have been actively cooperating with PEI-Genesis since 2018. One of our most popular products is IANOS, which saves space in the rack and allows us to use all the space efficiently. That is why we have chosen the LISA system, which is adapted to our needs, when building our Datacenter in Shiran Tower.

What made you choose Huber+Suhner products?

We have been meeting regularly at ISP conferences since 2015/2016, which has given us an awareness of your company and products. Later, on the recommendation of Adam Golecký, the executive director of NIX.CZ, we decided to try HUBER+SUHNER products.

What benefits or added value do our systems bring you?

Both LISA and IANOS allow us to easily manage fibre optic links, and a big added value for us is the possibility of high-density installation and space saving.

Do you plan to further expand these installations?

We plan IANOS systems in all our locations so that we have sufficient margin for further development – so we just need to insert another cartridge and the expansion is complete.

Do you perceive any flaws or drawbacks in our products that we could use for further development?

While some PEI-Genesis products may seem a bit more expensive than competitors’ products, the quality and service you offer with your products is clearly worth it. An example of one of the benefits is that your products eliminate the potential problems that occur when using poor quality patch cords.

How do you evaluate the cooperation with PEI-Genesis?

Our cooperation is working at an excellent level.

Would you recommend us to other similar companies in the market?

is an association whose aim is to interconnect member networks for the purpose of broadband communication and mutual data flows between users of these networks. Other objectives are connection to the NIX.cz peering centre, operation of the NFX interconnection centre for mutual communication of participants of member networks, support of the use of intranet, internet, VoIP and other information technologies, cooperation with entities pursuing compatible objectives and other cooperation of member associations.
